Behind The Lens: Wyatt Burton // @Dctrfrsh

I only started taking pictures a few years ago because I had a camera laying around that I got from a guy down in New Mexico who was kind of like my grandpa. I didn't start taking photography seriously until about a year and a half ago when I got back from Oregon. I looked up to photographers in my area, like Taylor and Emily, for inspiration and advice on getting started.

Cars haven't always been my thing, but once I got my license I decided to get more into them. I still love other forms of photography and would love to broaden my horizons to other types eventually. I think that automotive photography also allows a person to express themselves more, whether it's the photographer or the owner of the car. Every photographer has their own style, no matter what form of photography they do, and I think that automotive photography has a bit broader of a horizon when it comes to personal stylings, and I love being able to see other styles and culminate them to make my own.
I love the sense of community that comes with being a part of LMS. It's not exclusive like other groups, and everybody knows everybody, which I love. I already knew quite a few people in the LMS media team so I figured it would be just as familial if not more so. The media team has also given me more opportunities to go out and make a bigger name for myself (although still not very big).
I am hoping to one day be able to make photography my full time job, or at least almost full time. Maybe one day I'll even be able to be an actual media person, like for a magazine or a manufacturer like Audi or Jaguar. I'm hoping to get better and bigger than ever this year, and I even have some shoots lined up for dealerships down in Utah, so hopefully that helps me out quite a bit.
I currently drive a 2008 Subaru WRX Hatchback that's purple. My absolute dream car is a 2015 Ferrari 488 Pista. My attainable (within the foreseeable future) dream car is an Autozam AZ1, purely because it's a funky car, and they're never seen just around town.
I love the LMS community and all those in it, so I hope to help it grow by exposing the name throughout different places that Taylor hasn't reached yet. I frequently visit Utah and Oregon, which gives me lots of opportunity to spread my name and the LMS brand.
Wyatt has been around and grown up within the LMS community for some time now. Earlier this year he had applied to be apart of the LMS Media Team and was warmly welcomed. It has been a treat to watch Wyatt grow. From watching him attend meets, to going out to local drift events and car shows and putting himself out there. Wyatt's contribution to the local LMS community is unconditional, and is greatly appreciated because of that. The work that Wyatt has produced is a staple of his creative vision, not only for the LMS Media Team but also for his own media journey. Definitely reach out to him if you're wanting to have a photoshoot done, his work speaks for itself!
